50 SERIES LUMBER LOADS
The 50 series Lumber Loads are designed for early era loading of unitized lumber on 50 ft Flat cars and similar bulkhead flats. Time frame is the early 60's and into the 80's for some roads. Below are the variations that we produce for our N Scale modelers. Applications for the model are too numerous to mention; but we will try to include all manufactures of N scale flatcars. These loads are a scale length of 46 feet. Athearn® 53ft bulkhead and GSC Flatcars, Atlas® 50ft Flat cars, Con-cor® 50ft flat cars, Micro-Trains® 50 ft straight sides and fish belly Flat cars, and Walthers® 53ft General Service Commonwealth Bulkhead and standard flat cars.
